(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mike Robinson, Global Sales Management at NOVOMATIC, granted an interview to SoloAzar at recent ICE 2019. He talked about the new developments presented at the show, as well as the plans and expectations for the current year.

NOVOMATIC unveiled its big range of products and solutions at ICE 2019

“We have 23 subsidiaries represented on the NOVOMATIC stand, which covers more than 5,000 sqm. We are showcasing a variety of products for different sectors and jurisdictions. On the casino side, we have brand new slot highlights such as Lucky Lady’s Wild Spell™, bringing the renowned Lucky Lady character to the forefront in a new way, and Apollo God of the Sun that is a successful online title we have ported onto the NOVO LINE™ Interactive platform for international land-based markets. We are also featuring the international premiere of the MacGyver™ IP title”, Robinson described, when asked about the firm’s booth.

“A wide range of brand new content is being shown across our latest cabinets including the PANTHERA™ and V.I.P. series, and we are introducing a new cabinet at the show for select international markets, which is the V.I.P. Eagle™ III 3.32. We are demonstrating advancements to our ETG solutions based on the NOVO LINE Novo Unity II™ platform, as well as new launches like the LOTUS Roulette™ II Pro Black Edition,” he added.

“A major focus for us this year, as can be seen around the show floor, is sports betting. NOVOMATIC is very strong with sports betting in Europe and we are showing NovoPrime Sports, a solution in collaboration with Sportradar that offers a wide variety of markets across retail, web and mobile, as well as our latest solutions from the Admiral and Millennium brands, and a product in collaboration with Kambi that went live in the US last year,” he said.

Robinson then talked about the interactive side of the stand. “Greentube has new slot launches again this year, with The Great Gambini’s Night Magic, Tidal Riches and the online version of the Enchanted Fortunes Linked Jackpot™. Additionally is the innovative solution Plurius™ that is demonstrating device change and single wallet capabilities across land-based, web and mobile devices.”

“For the local UK market, there is a big focus on the digital gaming terminal Prismatic for arcades and pubs in the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium. A centrepiece attraction on the stand is Big Bonus Wheel for Category B1 and B3 markets. This mystery jackpot presentation is really making an impression on the UK gaming scene. For Germany, we have a range of hardware and software that complies with the recent TR5 Technical Guideline, and we also have a range of AWP products for the European territories,”he said.

When consulted about the importance of ICE show for the company, Robinson answered: “Clarion Gaming is doing a fantastic job improving the show year on year, it has increased in total floor space and that has attracted even more visitors. You have the right people coming to the show from all over the world and it is extremely important for NOVOMATIC to have a strong presence at what is the global gaming industry’s busiest and biggest trade show.”

Regarding NOVOMATIC expectations and goals at ICE 2019, he said: “ICE is a good place to do business and for our international subsidiaries to present new products to their respective regions. We have some cutting-edge solutions on our stand this year that we are confident will improve operations around the world, and ICE provides a window into the advancements we have been working on over the last 12 months. After their introduction at ICE, we take the latest market-relevant products to the international trade shows throughout the year.”

“Last year, our focus was cabinets. We introduced the PANTHERA™ series in 2018 and also the V.I.P. Lounge™ Curve 1.43, which have been phenomenally successful. Over the year we have rolled out those cabinets with a variety of single games and multi-game mixes. Feedback from the deployments has been refined into product development and this year’s ICE focuses on new content for those cabinets,” Robinson said.

“There are lots of opportunities: sports betting will provide a major opportunity. The online side of the business also brings lots of opportunities with new markets opening in Europe as well as in the Americas. So, we’re really excited about that,” he concluded.
